1. Information We Collect

We collect only the information necessary to provide the App’s core features, maintain security, and improve performance. When you create an account, we collect your email address for authentication and login through OTP or SSO. You may also choose to add optional information such as your profile name, age, or gender. These optional fields help personalize your experience but are not required to use the App.

To support secure login and account access, we also process authentication-related information such as OTP verification events and details provided by third-party sign-in providers. We do not receive or store passwords from any external platform.

When you interact with the App, we store the content you create, including URLs you save, along with any associated titles, folders, tags, and notes. We also maintain timestamps to track creation and updates so your content remains synced across devices.

We collect limited technical information to help maintain performance and diagnose issues. This may include device type, operating system, app version, IP address, language and region settings, and diagnostic events such as crash logs. The App does not use cookies or advertising trackers.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to create and maintain your account, authenticate login, sync content across devices, send OTPs and security notifications, respond to support queries, and ensure overall reliability.

Technical and diagnostic information is used to analyze performance, identify errors, improve functionality, and strengthen security systems. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising or behavioral tracking.

3. Legal Basis for Processing

Where required by law, we process personal information based on contractual necessity, legitimate interests such as security and diagnostics, consent for optional information, and legal obligations. Emitlogic Technologies acts as the data controller.

4. Children’s Privacy

Memorabl.one is intended for individuals aged 13 years or older. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If such data is identified, it will be deleted immediately.

5. Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell or rent personal data and do not share information with advertisers. Trusted service providers may process limited data for hosting, OTP delivery, crash reporting, and analytics under strict confidentiality obligations.

Information may also be disclosed if required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of users and the company.

6. Data Storage and Transfers

Your information may be stored or processed in India or other countries where our service providers operate. Appropriate safeguards are implemented for international data transfers.

7. Data Retention

Personal data is retained only as long as necessary. Account data remains until deletion, diagnostic data is typically retained between 30 and 180 days, and legal data is retained as required by law.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, or restrict processing of your personal data. Requests are handled within 30 days.

9. Your Choices

You may update optional profile information, manage saved content, or close your account at any time through the App.

10. Data Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards including encrypted transmission, secure servers, and monitoring systems. While no system is fully secure, we follow industry best practices.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Material changes will be communicated through the App or email.
